Wullar Bachav Front

Wullar Bachav Front is a non-profit organisation established in the year 2022. We are operational at Hajin block, Bandipora District of Kashmir State. Our objective is to reduce poverty, raise awareness about ecological and environmental issues and provide advocacy to the people in and around Wullar lake. Wular Lake, the ramsar site needs a management planning framework developed seeks a balance between ecosystem conservation and livelihood security to the communities. On the basis of management five components involves where a particular group should focus i.e., biodiversity conservation, ecotourism development, livelihood improvement and institutional development.
